Jon Garber is a consummate professional who is also kind and completely trustworthy.
My fiance' and I worked with Jon to sell my house, find a new house for our new family, and sell my fiances' house.
Selling my house was really easy. I believe we got a fair price and the whole experience was stress and crisis free (apart from packing which is never fun). Jon was an advocate for my interests at all times and I felt that in his communications with the buyer there was a clear theme of transparency and honesty.
Searching for our new house was rather stressful for us as a couple because, as we looked and looked we would find houses that one of us liked but the other did not. We were increasingly disappointed after viewing houses with high hopes only to find that one or both of us had reservations. Jon was really amazing to work with on this point; he would reassure us over and over that he was confident we would find one that we both love. He encouraged us to keep looking and he never once seemed to push us toward a house because it was a better deal for him. I believe that Jon sincerely cared more about our experience than his commission.
When we did find the home it was just exactly what Jon said it would be. We both LOVED it! The minute we saw it we decided we wanted to live there. Jon met with the seller and his agent to present our offer in person that very afternoon. We believe that one reason we didn't get into any kind of bidding war was that Jon reflected our love for the home and sincere appreciation for the meticulous care the owner had given to it over the years.
We will use Jon again, no question. We wouldn't consider working with anyone else.
